VIDEO: Berlin with Zalando

Sometimes I work on content which I’m not a hundred percent satisfied with. Essentially, that’s why this post took forever to go online… Who follows my blog on a regular basis, knows that I’ve been to Berlin with Zalando last month, to be part of and document about the yearly Bread and Butter fashion shows. At first, I really wanted to publish a video about the event, then I changed my mind and posted some outfit pictures instead. However, I never really talked about the event itself or provided a sneak peek into what’s happened behind the scenes. The reason being, that I wasn’t content with my filming material, even though I really wanted to share my impressions with you. I guess it won’t be my best video, but it gives a decent glimpse into the Bread and Butter event. All in all, those three days have been a lot of fun for me. The idea of opening the doors to the public and letting everyone access and interact with fashion shows and the runway is a very modern approach to the otherwise old-school and hierarchical fashion industry.

If you want to know more about the event or visit next year, you can check for more information on their website here.

keeping up with our motto #itsallaboutyou 🙌🏻 today! already had my favourite breakfast this morning (see stooooory) whilst reading some papers on strategic uncertainty for my thesis... love chilled mornings like these😻 also having my parents over for dinner tonight... what should i cook 😵😂?! #ad #aboutyoustyle
while last year was all about finding a job, moving out and finishing my bachelor degree (actually neatly wrote this down on a piece of paper on new year’s eve 2017), this year i really want to focus on me as a person rather than me as my accomplishments. don’t get me wrong, it does feel great to accomplish things, but the truth is, certificates, possessions or the number of photos you were able to take around the 🌍 will obviously never truly lead to any sort of satisfaction. at the end of the day, it’s all about you as a person, including all your weird angles, traits and habits. who‘s with me?
