Very, Very Simple – For the Days When You Have “Nothing to Wear”
Zurich has been feverish the last few days and my outfit game has reduced itself to similar looks, since I simply don’t own dozens of different dresses to wear each day. But you know what, there’s plenty of pieces in your wardrobe you can use all-year-round and that can function as a summer look just as well, it’s so simple! Let me tell you which ones i mean…
#1 Classic White Shirt
With or without print, a tee from companies like Imprint works under blazers in fall, under sweaters in winter and under kimonos in spring. You should thus definitely invest in a quality piece, so it will serve you well in summer, too.
I know, mine are white again, but they don’t need to be. There’s just no better thing than a good old pair of sneakers that sport up any look and is super comfy too!
3# Favourite Black Handbag
I’ve been obsessed with my small Céline Trapeze, but really any sleek black bag works for this purpose. What’s important to me is that the design is neat and timeless, so you can dress it up or down depending on the look you’re going for.
Et voilà, pair your classics with a jeans, jeans-shorts or a skirt like I did and your ready to got. Simple, right? The thing is, when we think of summer we immediately think of floaty dresses and off-the-shoulder tops, at least I do. But sometimes our problem is not that we have nothing to wear, but the idea of a specific look we would like to achieve. Next time you don’t have anything to wear, think twice because I’m almost certain, all of you can achieve this look!
